Fundraising tips and tools

There are lots ways to raise funds – the most important thing is to have fun and to know that your efforts will make a huge difference. Every donation, large or small, will bring education, healthcare and safe water to communities in the Everest region of Nepal.

Email your friends, family and colleagues to tell them you’re taking on the Summit Challenge. Make sure you give people the link to your personal everydayhero fundraising page to make it as easy as possible to donate. Here’s a sample email to help you get started:

I’m taking on the Himalayan Trust Summit Challenge – climbing the height of Everest (8848m) during the month of March to raise funds for the people of Nepal.

Over the last XX days, I’ve climbed the…., ascending over XXXXm in total, and I’ve still got XXXXm to go!

Thank you so much to everyone who has supported me already. Nepal is one of the poorest countries in the world and your donations will make a huge difference by helping communities in the Everest region to build a better future.  Your support will bring new opportunities for children through quality education, provide life-saving medical care for mothers and babies, and build water systems to provide safe drinking water and increase incomes from farming for whole communities.

There’s still time to support my Summit Challenge and help the people of the Everest region. If you haven’t already – you can make a donation at [LINK TO FUNDRAISING PAGE].

Any contribution you can make, large or small, will change lives in Nepal.

Thanks again!
